*TROPICAL STORM LIDIA RECOVERY - IN PROGRESS!*
After the storm comes a calm, that is true of Cabo San Lucas as the sun is now shining! The calm is not the only thing that comes after the storm in Cabo, but also the recovery efforts.
If there's something we love about Cabo is its ability to rise up! Locals and tourists have joined forces to see the place we love back to normal.
According to Cabo Vision (a local news broadcaster) recovery efforts started on September 4th. Power is 90% restored while water service is 75% restore.
Los Cabos hotel capacity of more than 16,500 rooms in 74 hotels is operating normally. According to Paloma Palacios, President of the Hotels Association of Los Cabos: "we are ready to welcome you to most of the hotels are giving 100% services."
The airport is already back open and several airlines are already announcing flights will resume starting tomorrow.
Beaches are almost 80% clean thanks to hotel and restaurant workers, tourists and locals in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo as well as along the tourist corridor.
The entire community joined forces and we are sure that things will be back to normal in a heartbeat!
