Our entry-level Cabo dolphin swim is called the Dolphin Encounter. On this fun excursion, you interact with real live dolphins while standing on an underwater platform about three feet deep.

This activity is perfect for people who don't feel comfortable in deep water, for families with small kids, and people who want to have a lifetime experience with dolphins but are on a tighter budget. For everyone else, we recommend to do one of the other swimming with the dolphins activities because they offer a more thorough experience and more time with the dolphins.

You will play with your dolphins, and watch as they do funny tricks. They will pose for photos with you, and generally have a playfully good time interacting with you in the water. Feel their special skin, get a hug and handshake, and more - very fun!

Cruise Passengers: Yes! This tour makes a great shore excursion. Pick-up is conveniently located only a 5 minute walk from the cruise pier.

Runs:

Four Times Daily at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM

Dolphinariums are located in both Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, so we will assign you to the one that is closest to your hotel. Kids: Ages 1 and up. Kids age 6-12 pay Kids price. Kids 1-5 years are free. Kids must be accompanied by a paying adult unless over 3' 11" tall (121 cm). Kids over 4' 7" (140 cm) tall are considered adults if swimming alone, regardless of age, but pay kids price if swimming with a paying adult.

Restrictions: No jewelry. Pregnant women are not permitted to do this activity. Cameras are not permitted during the tour, but you can use them before and after.

If you're on a cruise ship, we recommend that you consider the Puerto Vallarta Dolphin Swim. It only costs $99.00 instead of $119.00, plus free entrance to a water park! A much better deal!

This activity is conveniently located for people staying in San Jose del Cabo or the Los Cabos Corridor. If you are staying in Cabo San Lucas, check out our Cabo Dolphin Swims. This facility is about 25 minutes by taxi or bus from Cabo San Lucas.

Observers:
It is allowed to come as an observer and not participate in the dolphin swim at a cost of $10.00 per person (if staying in San Jose del Cabo), or $20.00 per person (if staying in Cabo San Lucas) payable in cash on the day of the trip. Observers must be booked in advance, so you will need to write the number of observers in the special instructions box when booking.
