CABO LIGHT TACKLE FISHING

All fishing in Cabo San Lucas is not trolling for marlin.  We also offer light tackle and spinning tackle fishing trips for roosterfish, grouper, snapper, and other bottom fish or reef fish.  This type of fishing is more interactive, much like lake fishing, where you drop lines straight down and deep while drifting.  The fish typically are much smaller than those you catch deep sea fishing, but your catch count may be more consistent and there is less down time than trolling.

Cabo San Lucas is a great place to try this type of fishing - roosterfish are an especially popular species to shoot for.  It's also recommended for families and for people who are more concerned about catching fish than how big or what species.  This is a great option for cruise passengers as well.
